ahh bra

ahh-braAre you one of those women who live for the end of the day, just so you can take off your bra? I always have been. If I’m not pulling up a strap, I’m pulling down the band, or twitching the fool thing back into place. It drives me crazy! Or at least it did until I finally found one that’s comfortable. If the idea of a comfy brassiere excites you and you’d rather skip right to the dirt cheap Ahh Bra page than continue reading, go ahead. I’ll wait here, in case you decide to come back.

I think it started with my first training bra, which had the uncanny ability of throwing a strap out of my sleeve at the most embarrassing times. Never did get that thing to be totally comfortable but I was new to bra wearing, so I had high hopes that once I graduated into a big girl bra that I would experience a greater level of comfort. Boy, was I wrong!

Underwires, hooks, scratchy lace were even more uncomfortable. And the straps still slid down. If I tightened them, they sank painfully into my shoulders and pulled the cups (and underwires) up onto my breasts if I moved. That was about the time that I decided being a girl wasn’t that much fun.

Over the years, I have tried just about every style and brand of bra imaginable. Playtex, Wonderbra, Triumph, Loveable bras and bras that I’d never heard of. Every one of them still left me longing for ‘take off the bra’ time. Well, I’m ecstatic to report that after decades of discomfort, I have finally found a solution that works fabulously for me and if you’re looking for comfort, you owe it to yourself to take a closer look at this bra, too.

You may have seen ads for the Ahh Bra. Honestly, I didn’t expect this brassiere to hold up to hype, mostly because no other bra I had ever tried was completely comfortable. I have the depressions in my shoulders to prove it. This time though, at least for me, the advertising turned out to be true. The Ahh Bra is the most comfortable bra that I have ever worn. No more pulling, adjusting or twitching. Everything stays where it belongs yet moves with me. I like that. A lot.

Of course, not every bra works for every woman but I highly recommend trying the Ahh Bra, at least once in your life. After all, wouldn’t you love to be comfortable all day instead of having to wait until your bra comes off? Imagine that for a second then check the Ahh Bra out for yourself. You have nothing to lose by looking and who knows, maybe it will be just the bra you’ve been looking for.

Well, it’s been a couple of months since I started wearing my Ahh Bra, so thought I’d post an update for those of you still wondering if you should give this brassiere a try. My advice? Unless you have something against being comfortably supported, do it!

As I mentioned on my About Me page, I was really dubious of the claims made about this bra from Rhonda Shear. No bra is really comfortable, I thought, so I bought it initially to challenge the brand. If it wasn’t every bit as wonderful as advertised, I intended to get my money back and leave one of those bad Ahh Bra reviews. On the other hand, if the garment really was everything it’s said to be, I wanted it badly.

Luckily for me, the Ahh Bra turned out to be fabulous. Why? Keep reading, I’ve listed my top three reasons for you. Guess that makes this one of those good Ahh Bra reviews. 

Top 3 Reasons Why I Love My Ahh Bra

1) Absolute Supreme Comfort! – I swear to you that I have never experienced the kind of comfort that I get from this brassiere. Before wearing the Ahh Bra, I honestly didn’t think I’d ever be able to use the words “bra” and “comfortable” in the same sentence. The material is so soft and there are none of the usual bra pieces that hurt.

2) Easy Care and Durability – Just throw the bra in the washing machine. It doesn’t pill and it doesn’t lose its strength and shape, wash after wash. You can count on it to last a long time and to always fit the same. Okay, maybe that’s two reasons.

3) Low Cost – I’ve spent a lot of money on bras and some can get stupidly expensive. Not this one, it’s only $19.99, so I got two Ahh Bra colors.

There you have it, my update and personal reasons for loving the Ahh Bra. Try one yourself and see if yours are the same as mine.

Like most women, I’ve tried a variety of bras over the years. Everything from Cross Your Heart to Loveable bras, and now Ahh Bras, have occupied my underwear drawer as I moved through the different phases of womanhood. In a moment of sheer madness, I even tried a shelf bra once, while in my early twenties. Once was all I wore it, too.

In my younger years, I thought that stabbing wires, hooks and scratchy lace made me sexier. Now, I know better. I don’t have to wear a torturous bra to prove I’m sexy – I know I am. And there’s nothing sexier than that, ladies. Self confidence beats out lingerie every time. Don’t take my word for it, go ahead and try it, you’ll see.

It is so liberating to put what I need and want ahead of societal norms, and these days, I’m far more self-assured when it comes to how I dress. That includes my undergarments. I deserve to be comfortable, demand it, in fact. That’s why I’m such a huge fan of the Ahh Bra. It supports with velvety soft comfort. I know, sounds like a commercial but it’s true! Maybe the Ahh Bra people will ask me to do one of their testimonial videos (hint!).

Sure, Loveable bras are cute and even shelf bras have their place, but those of us who have reached a certain mature confidence level will always go for all day comfort. Why? Because we deserve it, and sexy comes from the inside, not from what we wear. Let that statement bolster you, ladies. It leaves us free to enjoy garments like the Ahh Bra without sacrificing our sexy self-image. Being sexy shouldn’t be painful or uncomfortable. That just takes some of the fun out of things.

If you’ve read any part of this blog, you already know that the Ahh Bra is the most comfortable brassiere that I have ever worn. I think that if you look up some of the Ahh Bra reviews, you’ll discover that all women who’ve tried it feel that way. Why?

Well, my theory is, it’s because the Ahh Bra has been designed by a woman, Rhonda Shear. Something made for women by a woman. That’s important to me. Another female is going to understand the need for reliable support and comfort for the ‘girls’.

I’ve come to the conclusion that despite what my research tells me, it must’ve been a man who invented the original brassiere. Why would a woman create a torturous undergarment for herself? Doesn’t make sense. Underwires poking ribs, skin squeezed and forced over a band, straps biting shoulders or constantly falling down….everyday, all day long. Think about it and shudder then get yourself the much kinder Ahh Bra. Seriously, there’s no comparison.

Wearing an Ahh Bra is a totally difference experience. It’s the softest brassiere ever, has no hooks, no wires, no adjustable straps. This bra is really lightweight, comes in two Ahh Bra colors for wearing under light or dark clothing and is super easy to care for – just throw it in the washer. I was about to type “sheer Heaven” but I guess “Shear Heaven” is more appropriate.

For me, the comparison between the two bras is very, very simple. A regular bra is uncomfortable. The Ahh Bra is extraordinarily soft and comfy. Period. That’s really what it boils down to and why I decided to become an advocate for a product for the first time in my life.

Do yourselves a favor, ladies. Search online for some Ahh Bra reviews. If you like what you read, try the bra then form your own opinion. If you’re willing, come on back and let me know what you think, too.
